It’s easy to feel that life is repeatedly kicking us when we’re already down, especially in regards to the lingering and unknown existence of coronavirus. Just when we think we can’t cope with more fear and uncertainty, we are now faced with the polarizing debate over re-opening certain states and the safety of doing so. Can inspiring quotes fix it all? No. However, it may just remind you that there is always hope.
Many people are dealing with a huge amount of stress and are panicked over finances, health and speculation over what the future will look like. However, it’s important to remember that disruptions and struggle – however painful and as serious as they may be – are a part of life and always have been.
Living “The New Normal”
In regards to living the new normal, it is absolutely a surreal and overwhelming time, to say the least! And, it’s hard to find some semblance of peace living so far outside of our previous “regular” routines. We were all thrown into this suddenly and therefore, are all stumbling through wondering if it’s at all possible that life will ever return to some semblance of what it was before. It is an unprecedented time in history and our future success and emergence from this, is dependent on our ability to persevere through a level of adversity, in which most of us, have never experienced before.
This is the first pandemic of the connected age and we suddenly find ourselves fighting the same invisible enemy- Covid-19, collectively.
What can you do to cope?
It’s human nature to take in experiences and events and try to process it all and make some sense of it. This is a tough one, for sure! So what do we do when we can’t make sense of something?
Well, some of us try to find humor in it, (which is no easy task when it comes to this current situation), others look for inspiration, pray and hope for a cure and vaccine!
